Dear Bob, this is wonderful! It expresses my hopes. My time here is nearing an end. Reading Heather Cox Richardson's quote this morning of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society speech at the University of Michigan took me back to a day when we, as, as a nation, had aspirations of peace, equality, and justice for all. Sadly, those aspirations have been overshadowed by greed, power, and self-interest. Perhaps the embers of a better society will not be allowed to grow cold!
Just wow. To write so eloquently and with such love about life while in the position we are is so inspiring and so what we needed to hear. Beautiful piece I will keep to reread often. Thank you xx 💖🙏🏻💖
I choked and teared up as I read this out loud to Sue.

If a one-person standing ovation is possible, you're getting one right now. Bravo!
